providing a sound education . . .

. . . building the future

The year 2002 started off with a training seminar at the urban centre in Meadow brook. There was a great turnout and the session was agreat learning experience for all. This was borne out during a visit to a number of the satellites where many of the lessons learned had already been put into practice.

One of the gratifying things that are most noticable to those who visit the satellites on a less frequent basis is the steady growth in the understanding and implementation of the learning through play methodology.

Our first trainees from Zimbabwe are due to start during the first quarter. This is an important development in the extension of the work of Safe and Sound.

Training class held just before

schools opened in January. These training

sessions have an important place in

networking and sharing skills and ideas

A happy class at the urban Safe and Sound Learning Centre in Edenvale.

Trainees come to this school for an 8 week period of theoretical and practical training
